Few Roman Catholic priests have placed themselves in so controversial a topic as Rev. Shawn Kilcawley has with his very public ministry in fighting pornography. Fr. Kilcawley is the Director of The Office of Family Life for the Diocese of Lincoln NE. The topic of pornography and men, women and sadly children’s addiction to and even participation in making, in 2020 is of vital importance to the Catholic Church in making a “comeback” in asserting her singular ministerial authority in matters of morals and justice.

The NY Times recently revealed in a stunning expose on the topic of child abuse and child pornography that last year alone there were 18.4 MILLION cases reported including over 45 MILLION images and videos. 

My sit down with Fr. Kilcawley does not cover his “theology of the body” work directly but it does cover some of his near-field work in dealing directly with chronic porn addictions while trying to stay in a state of Grace.
