A 43 YEAR OLD LEGAL U.S. RESIDENT AND DOCTOR HAS BEEN JAILED BY IMMIGRATION AGENTS

Winchester, VA – Slate is reporting that 43 year old physician Lukasz Niec, who has legal permanent U.S. residency and was brought to the United States as a child was jailed last Tuesday morning and is facing deportation for two misdemeanors which took place while he was in high school. The first involved a fight he participated in after a car crash, which left him with a conviction for malicious destruction of property, and the second was a conviction for receiving and concealing stolen property, but this charge was supposedly wiped from his record. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement during the Trump Administration has shifted their focus from targeting only violent offenders to including those engaging in low-level crimes.
