CHILDREN IN THE SYRIAN CITY OF DEIR EZ-ZOR ARE TASTING FRUIT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS

Winchester, VA – Recently we reported on the liberation of the Syrian city of Deir ez-Zor from the hands of ISIS. Although ISIS still holds a very small portion of the city, the majority of the city is beginning to pick up the pieces and is more and more able every day to pursue what they remember to be a normal existence, you know, like having food to eat, for example. With humanitarian aid convoys arriving daily, these Syrians are again receiving the supplies they need and are eating foods they have not seen for years. For some children it is their first time eating fruit.  Russia Times’ journalist Murad Gazdiev went to Deir ez-Zor and covered this story. God bless those people for all they have been through.
