Corey’s Blog: Cam Newton better watch out for that Play 60 kid aka Kyle Allen

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has not been the same ever since he was the MVP of the league and his loss during the Super Bowl to Peyton Manning’s Denver Broncos. Newton, 30 years old, is set to be replaced by young quarterback Kyle Allen if he isn’t careful. And at the same time, Newton is the one who has not been able to stay healthy. If you watch him, his throwing mechanics look off. 

Regardless of what the Panthers decide to do, Cam Newton needs to watch this back for this kid.

Okay, not really. But the joke is all in fun. Panthers quarterback Kyle Allen could possibly be the future in Carolina. His stat line last week against the Cardinals, was better than Newton’s first two games combined. Allen went 19/26 for 261 yards and four touchdowns. Newton has one passing touchdown in 2019. Allen has a strong arm and can move the football. Plus, we all love a good story.
