Corey’s Blog: Take it to the bank! Corey’s Call for a weekend full of football

This blog is for you! Does this help me? No! It helps you, because I am for the people! Corey’s Call is where I predict a game at the end of Sports Talk With Corey Clark which airs weekdays at 3pm ET. But on Friday’s, we go BIGGER! I predict 8 games. 3 College Football games and 5 NFL games. So click that pen and get your notepad ready, time for Corey’s Call.

College Football Picks (3)

  1. Kentucky over South Carolina
  2. No. 10 Notre Dame over No. 18 Virginia
  3. No. 17 Washington over No. 17 USC

Kentucky is a sneaky solid pick here, easy money if you ask me.

Notre Dame looked really good on a national stage against a great Georgia team a week ago, don’t bet against the Irish.

Washington has a better team, simple as that.

NFL Week 4 Picks (5)

  1. Panthers over Texans
  2. Ravens over Browns
  3. Patriots over Bills
  4. Bears over Vikings
  5. Cowboys over Saints

Listen. I believe in Kyle Allen. I have faith he will replace Cam Newton as the starting quarterback for the Carolina Panthers.

When talking about the Ravens and Browns matchup, it’s interesting to say the least. If the Browns win they take over as the AFC North leaders, but if they lose then they fall to 1-3. The Browns still have Freddie Kitchens calling plays so they will lose. Plus the Ravens have shows they are the real deal. Book it!

As much fun as Bills Mafia is, Tom Brady just doesn’t lose to Buffalo. Not today. Not tomorrow. Easy pick.

Between Kirk Cousins and Mitch Trubisky, this will be a low scoring game. Vikings and Bears have two of the better defenses in the NFL, all while their offense is trash. These teams will not combine for more than 30 points, but give me the Bears. Maybe the coming out party on Monday woke them up from hibernation. Give me Chicago.

One of the biggest games of the weekend feature New Orleans and Dallas. The Cowboys are undefeated on the young season, but the Saints despite no Drew Brees went into Seattle last week and won. Cowboys are good, start believing it. No Drew Brees for the Saints? No win for the Saints.
