Winchester, VA – Reuters yesterday highlighted a company called Square Roots, which is training 10 “entrepreneurial farmers” to grow produce indoors in shippng containers in New York City in an attempt to create urban farms. After six months, farmers like Erik Groszyk, a Harvard grad who left his successful, but unfulfilling, investment banking career, are harvesting 15-20 pounds of produce per week. Talk about creating solutions!
