YOUNGSTOWN STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS CLAIM THAT LATE NIGHT CHICKEN IS HOMOPHOBIC

Winchester, VA – The student body of Youngstown State University is circulating a petition seeking to close the on-campus Chick-Fil-A and replace it with another fast-food establishment. They claim that because the Chick-Fil-A is the only place to get meals in the evenings, the on-campus experience of gays and lesbians is negatively impacted. Emmett Ray, the author of the petition, said, “…Chick-fil-A is notoriously run by homophobes” and, “my goal with the petition was more to start a discussion than actually get Chick-Fil-A closed. Associate Professor of genetics at YSU said in support of the petition, “I will not support Fried Food for Homophobes, which is what I think of Chick-fil-A.” Another supporter said, “Time for these people grow up and accept what is and move forward living life and stop hating and spread more love.” There has been word on whether or not this supporter is going to take his or her own advice..or an English class.
