Winchester, VA – The Seattle Times reports that in an unusual move, PBS is launching a new conservative leaning talk show called “In Principle.” It originates from the WETA-TV studio right outside of Washington D.C., and will air on Friday nights for an eight week trial period, and then the station will decide whether or not to continue the series. “In Principle” will be hosted by Columnist Michael Gerson, who is a frequent guest on the PBS Newshour and not always a backer of President Trump, and commentator Amy Holmes, who has worked at MSNBC and The Blaze, and is an avid supporter of the president. Gerson said, “I find when I go around the country that there is actually a hunger for serious, civil dialogue as an alternative to the bitterness of our civic discourse.”
