Brett Kavanaugh: SVU, How low will the Fed go?

Here is what is happening today in the Brief. First, the latest Brett Kavanaugh smear doesn’t hold up. To clarify, Democrats want to impeach the  Supreme Court justice over a new allegation that is so shady, even the newspaper doesn’t seem to believe in it. Truly, this fresh smear is buried in the 11th paragraph of an upcoming book, “The Education of Brett Kavanaugh.” However, less than a day went by before the story proved to be shallow. 

Second, with rate cut likely, market wonders how low Fed will go. Meanwhile, investors are counting on support from a Federal Reserve willing to keep cutting interest rates to help the U.S. economy avoid a downturn. Presently, a quarter-point rate reduction is expected when the Fed issues its next  statement on Wednesday.

Third, we talk daily date via Five Thirty Eight and Pew Research Center. Particularly, about eight-in-ten full-time working mothers say their current employment situation is what’s best for them.
