Mandeville, LA – We have implemented a new, 3 RSS feed system for our long-form LIVE shows, repackaged as single hour podcasts. This has been done for ease of listening and to place specific show hours at your fingertips. Also, if you are following the CRUSADE Premium Channel Show/Event Calendar which has backward search capabilities, finding OLDER content will now be a snap because you can pinpoint the day and the hour of broadcast and download JUST that segment.

Listener Steve had an issue getting the 3 feeds to work, here’s how we solved the problem for him.

Message Body: Me again, sorry to trouble you so much, I’m normally not this needy. When downloading the RSS feed via iTunes Podcast, I’ve been getting the 3rd Segment twice. Once labeled 1 (crusade-on-demand) and second labeled 3 (crusade-on-demand3) but I’m not getting Segment 1 which has the show entro featuring Damn Yankees w/ Midder Nugent (by the by, I love that). Anyone else with the same issue?

Steve,

ANSWER: No problem. You have the wrong RSS addresses:

Segment 1:https://crusadechannel.com/feed/crusade-on-demand/

Segment 2: http://veritasradionetwork.com/feed/on-demand2/

Segment 3: https://crusadechannel.com/feed/on-demand3/

Try that and let us know.

Mike

When I click on the link for /on-demand3/, it takes me to a page with your picture and RSS Feeds, but no luck getting anything to play. I’m sure it’s my ignorance but I’d like to hear the segment. It says I’m logged in but can’t get .pdf’s or sound. What am I missing?

My friends and I don’t use iTunes or Apple products, is there anyway you could put your pod casts on Soundcloud?

Thunder, it does not matter what podcast app or platform you are using, iTunes does not serve our Podcasts, Blubrry does, they are only accessed through iTunes to protect the content from those who do not have Founder’s Passes. iTunes is only the relay point of our podcasts for users using Macs or iPhones and Apple makes nothing from them nor do they have any control over them. Furthermore, our podcasts are accessible from any podcast app that accepts member-account content as most good podcast apps do.

BTW, you do know that the gangsta rapper heretic JayZ is the principle partner behind SoundCloud which is why I don’t use them.
