ATHEISM IS DWINDLING RAPIDLY IN RUSSIA

Winchester, VA – Breitbart is reporting that according to a recent poll by the Levada research center, the amount of Russians identifying as atheists has fallen by 50% in the last three years. The numbers of Russians who would identify as “absolutely irreligious” dropped from 26% in 2014 to 13% in 2017. Approximately 86% of Russians now identify as “religious” in some capacity, from the 9% “very religious” ot the 33% “not too religious,” and the 44% in between. The Russian Orthodox Church is “respected and revered” by 92% of the populace, while 74% of respondents felt the same way about the Catholic Church.
