The Legend Of 5 Mile Cave Is Worth Remembering!

Greetings! Yes it has been a while since I have graced you with a movie review. Well fear no more, I return with a recommendation. The Legend Of 5 Mile Cave Is Worth is a diamond in the rough of this wasteland of an entertainment landscape. This film comes from INSP Films & Imagicomm with the goal of putting out a film with no nudity, expletives or gruesome deaths. Many would initially seem put off by this, with the notion that it is “corny”. We have become so jaded that we have come to expect our films to reinforce the degeneracy in our society. The Legend Of 5 Mile Cave is what you would call a “safe” film and my response is..so? It was an enjoyable 90 minutes and plus Adam Baldwin is always a win. Of course I am a fan of Westerns so that may influence my enjoyment of it.
A Diamond In The Rough
The Legend Of 5 Mile Cave was not released in theaters. So this was found on a streaming service. The film does a very good job with what could be considered a very weak plot. It doesn’t hurt that Baldwin carries this film from the first moment that he appears on the screen. After seeing him as the “bruiser” and “muscle” in many of his roles due to his sheer size, this role allows him to be much quieter and he does not disappoint. The rest of the cast, including Jill Wagner, Alexandria Berry & Jeremy Sumpter bring depth to their roles and there wasn’t a moment I was bored with this “safe” “family friendly” movie.
Overall
If you have time and are looking for something to watch that won’t make you have to go to confession after, put The Legend Of 5 Mile Cave. Don’t be put off with the idea that it is a “family friendly Western”. This story is one of redemption, family and values that you will not find in on the marquee of your local theater (when they are open). In a time where we are all forced to stay at home, you feel that you have no options but what is being shoveled down your throat by Netflix. Hulu and more. Fear not, you and the family can sit back, relax and remember The Legend Of 5 Mile Cave.
