Winchester, VA – Lastly, in Celestial Musings, the forces of diversity have struck again, this time in Rhode Island, where, as reported by LifeSite News via the Providence Journal, the state House of Representatives has voted to ban pro-heterosexual change therapy for minors. The bill’s sponsor, Representative Joseph McNamara, was lauded in the House when he said “Freud and Lady Gaga got it right when they said ‘people are born this way,” but his assessment contradicts that of Dr. Lisa Diamond, the lesbian co-author of the American Psychological Association’s 2014 Handbook on Human Sexuality, who said that research shows that those who experience homosexual tendencies also experience some degree of heterosexual tendencies, and that the bill allows children to explore their homosexual feelings with a counselor, but denies them the right to explore their heterosexual feelings with a counselor.
