The recent “revelation” that Sean Hannity has “left” the Catholic Church was the “Big Story” on Ainsley Earhardt’s Bible Study Show that launched on Fox Nation. 

The host of “The Sean Hannity Show” revealed in a clip shared with The Christian Post that despite attending Catholic school for 12 years, he is no longer affiliated with the Catholic Church due to “too much institutionalized corruption” that has not been “rectified.” However, Hannity said his faith has “gotten stronger” as he’s “gotten older.”

Question, if your family is dealing with “corruption” in their morals, say a son struggling with homosexuality or a wife having an adulterous affair; do you leave this family and find a new, “more perfect” family or do you stay and fight the corruption by providing an example of uncorrupted morals? Maybe add some prayer, fasting and other acts of mortification to your efforts; recalling your marriage vows “’til death do you part” and Christ’s words…

Therefore now they are not two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let no man put asunder.

A cowardly man (most men today are) takes what he thinks is the easy road out, moves into a bachelor pad with his answer to adultery (or his porn habit) or into his mother’s basement to hide from his son’s soy-boy-toy courtiers. ‘Muricah is filled with these soy-leaning, porn addicted cowards driving divorce rates to ever higher records while driving Sacramental marriage as a lifetime vocation into the ditch where, as Chesterton might quip.

“[Marriage] has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and not tried.”

Meanwhile, contraception/onanism based “marriage” rises with “pastor” Osteen leading the new “prosperity” gospel charge up Materialism Hill; 41 foot long GMS Suburbans are “stuffed” with 2 kids, 3 cats and a “mom” strutting about, flashing her now dysfunctional reproductive parts in skin-tight “yoga pants”. This moral catastrophe, now fully realized in ‘Muricah, needs men of heroic virtue and even more heroic Faith to provide the antidote and lead a “Return to Order”.

Sean Hannity is not that man.

The Catholic Church is in the throes of Her latest Passion and Our Lord’s Scared Heart is calling all able bodied men to form ramparts against the new iconoclasms, sacrilege and outright heresy. Cowards run from this battle because its “institutional” and too difficult to fight while holding down million dollar pay-days.

Get a clue, Sean, the reason there are “Christian…religious” institutions for you to apostasy in is precisely because The Institution provided the eternal, Holy model being mocked by your membership.

I won’t get into Hannity’s infamous, publicized attempt to shame Fr. Euteneur, a Catholic priest, by claiming that contraception is now permissable for Catholics; I’ll instead pray you make telling that story part of your next confession when your Bible study and prosperity gospel life leave a Manhattan skyscraper sized hole in your heart that a cost-free devotion to Our Lady and Her Rosary could have filled, and you return to Holy Mother Church (and you will).

Another priest, Fr. Munkelt, confronted the schismatic Catholic Rod Dreher after his public assault on Catholic Triumphalism. It applies to you, Sean and I pray that priests will write to you openly as Fr. Richard Munkelt, bravely did to Rod Dreher.

Of course, in knowingly and purposely separating yourself from the Catholic fold, you are undeniably a formal schismatic. A situation aggravated, I should add, by your having made a career of assailing the Church, all the while absurdly preaching to Catholics how to live better lives as Catholics. – Fr. Richard Munkelt

You haven’t left the Catholic Church Sean because God seared indelible marks upon your soul at your Sacramental Catholic Baptism and Confirmation, no Nielsen ratings coup or $800 million net worth can purchase a cleanser for that. Instead you have turned your back on Our Holy Mother The Church and Her Holy Son when they need you most; but that’s what cowards do. Our heavenly God at the head of The Catholic Church, blessed you with an audience of millions and you have repaid him with another betrayal. Recall there is a parable about this very situation, Sean.

And Peter said to him: Lord, dost thou speak this parable to us, or likewise to all? [42] And the Lord said: Who (thinkest thou) is the faithful and wise steward, whom his lord setteth over his family, to give them their measure of wheat in due season? [43] Blessed is that servant, whom when his lord shall come, he shall find so doing. [44] Verily I say to you, he will set him over all that he possesseth. [45] But if that servant shall say in his heart: My lord is long a coming; and shall begin to strike the menservants and maidservants, and to eat and to drink and be drunk:

[46] The lord of that servant will come in the day that he hopeth not, and at the hour that he knoweth not, and shall separate him, and shall appoint him his portion with unbelievers. [47] And that servant who knew the will of his lord, and prepared not himself, and did not according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. [48] But he that knew not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. And unto whomsoever much is given, of him much shall be required: and to whom they have committed much, of him they will demand the more.

Tragically, millions of fallen away and lukewarm ninny “Catholics” have and will now use your “example” to make just (though it can never be Just), their “leaving” the Catholic Church. I pray your wife and children do not follow your cowardly example and that there is a Hannity with courage, a Rosary and devotion to Our Lady of Sorrows, to pray for your return. 

Whether you like it or not, you are a Catholic still and will die a Catholic, the question is, what side of Grace will you be on? The prayer card below tells you and anyone else including Mrs. Earhardt, all you need to know about “religion”. You’ve been scandalizing Catholics for decades as a “catholic” now you’ve thrown in with the enemy to wage war against The Church. Know that while many will pray for your return, many more will pray for your defeat in scandal.
