• That is something in and of itself. 
• The headline read “Crowder visits black barbershop.”
• If you were to say ‘white’ barbershop would the headline catch the same?
• How can you have a black barbershop if your race is so oppressed?

• Heather Cox Richardson has more subscribers than Jimmy Kimmel has viewers. And every night, or thereabouts, she tells her 2.7 million followers that America is sliding into authoritarianism. Trump is a dictator, MAGA is inspired by Nazi political theory, and right-wing violence is a deliberate attempt to maintain control despite their fading popular support.
• She’s built a media empire by offering her audience, who treats her like a pastor at the pulpit, exactly what they want to hear: a morality tale where they are always the good guys, and the other side has gone insane. Some of her subscribers claim to spend their Social Security checks on her newsletter because subscribing is an act of patriotism, an endorsement of the facts. But in Richardson’s telling, the facts always skew left. 
• When it was revealed that Charlie Kirk’s assassin was not the right-wing extremist she claimed he was, she never corrected the record. When Biden’s debate performance was so bad The New York Times called for him to drop out, Richardson claimed he “thoroughly” proved his competence. When an assassin murdered Minnesota lawmakers, it was “horrific,” but when Luigi Mangione assassinated UnitedHealthcare’s CEO, it was a moral protest.

• China currently operates more than two-thirds of all high-speed rail on earth, with 48,000 kilometres of track now laid, and one can’t help but compare these achievements with notable fiascos in the West. In Britain we singularly failed to build a high-speed railway between our three largest cities, by no means the only project to suffer from spiraling costs; in the most notorious case, the application to build a tunnel across the Thames ran to almost £300 million. That’s just the application.
• The basic function of any state is to ensure the long-term finances of the country, to defend its borders and to protect the population through law and order. You might also include a fourth factor, which is to ensure the posterity of its citizens. By all four measures, western liberal democracies have done poorly since the age of accelerated liberalism began in the 1990s. While there is angst about how illiberalism is winning, there doesn’t seem much reflection on how illiberal regimes, for all their faults, currently seem more effective at delivering those things.

Shilo Brooks – Reading Books Made a Man Out of Me

• Young people today, and especially young men, do not understand how reading books can alter the trajectory of a life. Reading for pleasure among American adults has dropped 40 percent in the past 20 years. In 2022, only 28 percent of men read a work of fiction, compared to 47 percent of women—a 19-point gap. A National Endowment for the Arts study found that just 40 percent of men read any book at all that year.
• This dramatic decrease in reading is happening at the same time as a deepening existential crisis among young men. Record numbers of them are not getting married, not dating, not enrolling in school or working, and struggling with serious mental health issues. A quiet malaise hangs over them. Today’s young men, who fill my classroom by the hundreds, ardently long for a more meaningful existence than the one offered to them by digital narcotics.

• The Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE), which conducts a large annual survey of US undergraduates, polled over 60,000 students in 2025. My analysis of the raw data shows that in that year, just 3.6% of respondents identified as a gender other than male or female. By comparison, the figure was 5.2% in 2024 and 6.8% in both 2022 and 2023. In other words, the share of trans-identified students has effectively halved in just two years.
• This trend is especially marked in elite institutions. Andover Phillips Academy in suburban Boston surveys over three-quarters of its students annually. In 2023, 9.2% identified as neither male nor female. This year, that number has crashed to just 3%. A similar story emerges at Brown University: 5% of students identified as non-binary in 2022 and 2023, but by 2025 that share had dropped to 2.6%.
• Being transgender is horrible.
• The horror to the body, the sexual issues and the social issues.
• This young generating is pretty vain and this transgender stuff doesn’t bode well for that vanity.
• Look at where Dylan Mulvaney is now. The same place he was plucked from existence, an obscure broadway show somewhere.
• Remember July 4th last year vs this year? It was all rainbows and unicorns and LGBTQ now it is 100% American. Flag waving and sparklers and fireworks.

• There isn’t a clear winner in this I don’t think but if a party is winning, it is the Republican party on this.
• It is important to note that there is a slight revolt in the Democrat party.
• And the leader is AOC, I think Hakeem Jeffries time is over before it even got started. The Squad is going to rise. The old Hakeem groomed by Nancy is over. The left is no longer moderate, it is far left or bust.

• The parental abductions that happened, the men the fathers that lost custody because they would not go along w/ mutilating their children justice should come soon.
