United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (Rio Pact of 1992)  = byname Earth Summit, conference held at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (June 3–14, 1992), to reconcile worldwide economic development with protection of the environment. The Earth Summit was the largest gathering of world leaders as of 1992, with 117 heads of state and representatives of 178 nations in all attending. By means of treaties and other documents signed at the conference, most of the world’s nations nominally committed themselves to the pursuit of economic development in ways that would protect the Earth’s environment and nonrenewable resources.

Our Namesake:  G.K. Chesterton

Known as the Prince of Paradox, G.K. Chesteron was a prolific early 20th century writer, poet, and philosopher.  Though well known for his writing, especially that of fictional priest-detective Father Brown, Chesterton was an avid fan of cigars and its been said the never met a cigar he didn’t like.  In fact, many pictures of Chesterton that have appeared in publication often feature him with a cigar in his hand or in his mouth.  Because of this, we’ve adopted G.K. Chesterton as our namesake and our patron.

• Figures and statements from the recent FDA advisory board meeting totally destroy any argument for jabbing kids. 
• Five to eleven-year-olds make up roughly 8.7% of the US population, or 32 million people. If the seroprevalence data is correct, that means about 13.4 million children aged 5-11 have been exposed to Covid to the point they’ve developed antibodies. 
• 94 deaths out of 13.4 million people gives an overall survival rate of 99.994%. Right in line with CDC predictions from months ago.

CONCLUSION: So, there you have it really. Mainstream experts and sources have been clear: 

• Children are at virtually no risk from the disease. 
• Vaccinated people still transmit the virus. 
• The long term side effects of the vaccine entirely unknown.

• To be a conservative maximalist is to argue for something good, not merely against bad things. Yet for the 20-something who graduated during the pandemic, a holistic vision is actually a more pragmatic one, because it offers answers to real questions we’re facing, where other solutions do not. Not all use of government is government overreach.
• To be a maximalist is to embrace the best possible vision for man, a vision that involves the whole human, not merely his economic worth. It’s not nearly as simple as the minimalist’s path, but it is where the heart of conservatism is, and the only fight that matters, for the maximalist who is not content with mere live and let live.

• The culture war is not about skin color, geographic location, ancestry, income level, or any such comparatively superficial things, but about our hearts, our spiritual allegiances. This war goes right into the deepest parts of our beings and of the universe. It’s typified by whether one will acknowledge any authority over the self, such as the existence of objective truth, truths that are true for all people in all times regardless of their feelings or “experience.” For that’s what worship is: An acknowledgment that one is under an authority.
