Appeals Court Throws Out Judge Engoron’s ‘Excessive’ Penalty in NYC Civil Fraud Case by Debra Heine A five-judge panel of New York’s Appellate Division unanimously ruled that the fine—originally set at $355 million plus interest—was “excessive” and unconstitutional under the Eighth Amendment. According to Trump, the penalty with interest had surged to over $550 million. The panel came to the decision after deliberating for nearly 11 months. Trump posted a $175 million bond in April 2024, preventing James from being able to freeze his bank accounts and seize his properties until his appeals were heard. That um will now be repaid to the Trump Organization.
51m	HEADLINE: US Pauses Visas for Commercial Truck Drivers, Citing Safety and Other Impacts by Joseph Lord “Effective immediately we are pausing all issuance of worker visas for commercial truck drivers.” – Marco Rubio The Trump administration said Thursday it is reviewing more than 55 million people who have valid U.S. Visas for any violations that could lead to deportation, part of a growing crackdown on foreigners who are permitted to be in the United States. There were 12.8 million green-card holders and 3.6 million people in the U.S. on temporary visas last year, according to the Department of Homeland Security. QUESTION: Do you know who launched XM Satellite radio? ASNWER: Americas truck drivers. Almost every call I’d take when we first started at Sirius would be a truck driver. They were thrilled to get a service that would work for their entire haul. The majority of truckers used to be owner operators back then.

Last Sunday when we were coming home from Lake Charles we noted how we couldn’t see around the 18 wheelers. These trucking companies didn’t want to pay what American truck drivers wanted so they imported Russian and Mexican drivers. This was all about driving down wages in the trucking industry. President Donald Trump has taken a series of steps to address concerns about foreign truck drivers who don’t speak English. In response to these concerns, Trump in April signed an executive order directing enforcement of a rule requiring commercial drivers in the United States to meet English-proficiency standards. Singh Singh provided correct responses to just 2 of 12 verbal questions and only accurately identifying 1 of 4 highway traffic signs.

When you poop canned millions during COVID, when they came back that doesn’t count as a NEW employment or NEW job but that is what Gavin Newsom is trying to do here.

Alina Habba’s confirmation shouldn’t hinge on Cory Booker’s approval. The Senate GOP needs to nuke this outdated rule. Why has Cory Booker holding up a US Attorney that will serve at the behest of the President of the U.S.? You know they still have mobs out there right? Trump will get a US Attorney appointed in New Jersey.

He hated and felt it beneath him to have to do events. Trump eats fast food, he likes fried chicken, he likes McDonalds. Remember when Bill Clinton played the saxophone on Jay Leno? Trump doesn’t love the modern era. The media on the worst most vicious day wouldn’t call him an alcoholic. He loves the royal family. Those kinds of things can be very wholesome. For Trump in general, he is a much more old school person than you’d think and he handles himself like that. Gavin Newsom is a nobody, he has never won a big political race, he is a nobody. He thinks he is much more than he is. This shows how desperate the Democrats are. Did you watch that debate w/ him and Ron DeSantis? I wasn’t amazed by it at all.
