A BIPARTISAN MEASURE IN THE HOUSE AIMS TO UNCOVER THE TRUTH ABOUT CHEMICAL WEAPONS TESTING UPON OUR TROOPS

Winchester, VA – McClatchy DC Bureau is reporting on a bipartisan measure introduced in the house by Representatives Mike Thompson of California, Don Young of Alaska, and Walter Jones of North Carolina aimed at forcing the Department of Defense to declassify and disclose documents related to weapons testing programs from the 1960’s and 1970’s named Project 112 and SHAD. These programs, whose existence was long denied by the government until recently, tested some of the most extreme and hazardous agents known to man upon U.S. servicemen and the veterans are still suffering the effects of Project 112 and SHAD today. Representative Mike Thompson spoke about this last week.
