Winchester, VA – The Associated Press and NPR are reporting that Oklahoma City has opened up a criminal investigation into a police shooting which occurred yesterday in which a deaf man was fatally shot by police after witnesses yelled to them that the deaf man could not hear their commands. Police officers were working on a hit-and-run accident when a witness came forward to tell them where the missing vehicle could be found. Sergeant Christopher Barnes and Lieutenant Matthew Lindsey located the vehicle at the house of 35 year old Magdiel Sanchez, who came out of the house brandishing a two foot long pipe. The two officers called for backup.
