CLASHES ERUPTED AT THE AL-AQSA MOSQUE AS MUSLIM WORSHIPPERS RETURNED TO PRAY

Winchester, VA – Crux is reporting that violence ramped up on Thursday at the Noble Sanctuary, home of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, when following the removal of security devices set in place by Israel, the Muslims flooded in to come pray at the mosque.  Israeli police had to fire tear gas and rubber bullets, and in retaliation, the Palestinians threw stones. The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed 37 wounded, some with broken bones. The Noble Sanctuary is where Muslims believe the Prophet Muhammed ascended into heaven, and is therefore the third holiest site in Islam.
