Winchester, VA – The College Fix reported yesterday on a pro-life victory in Indiana won by a local crisis pregnancy center. The Crisis Pregnancy Center of Wabash Valley opened in 2015, and within a year had taken so many clients from the Terre Haute Planned Parenthood that it had to close down. The main goal of the Center was to reach college students, so they located themselves within walking distance of campus, in an apartment building where college students reside. Offering many of the same health care services as Planned Parenthood at a much more affordable rate, the center also gives credits towards the purchase of baby gear to mothers and fathers who take parenting and support classes. Last year, 80% of women in crisis pregnancies chose life for their babies after seeing their babies on ultrasound at the Center.
