Winchester, VA – Revisiting the North Korean situation, the New York Post reports that Russia and China have given their support to the U.N. Security Council’s sanctions against North Korea, with one caveat. The two nations’ UN ambassadors have reiterated that they agree on the four no’s: no regime change, no regime collapse, no stepped-up reunification and no military deployments north of the border separating North and South Korea. They also have said that sanctions will only go so far in achieving the goal of the scaling back or dismantling of North Korea’s nuclear and missile program, indicating that the answer must be found in diplomacy. President Donald Trump weighed in on the sanctions yesterday.  Meanwhile, the BBC reports that  North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has rejected what he calls a  “illegal resolution” and has, in response, threatened America with “the greatest pain it has ever experienced in its history.”
