The Deliver Us From Evil Tapes Episode I, II & III

Winchester, VA – Aaron Renn writing for the City Journal revealed that an upstart social media platform named Gab, which competes with Twitter, has been banned from Google and Apple for its refusal to censor certain types of speech or expression among its members. Gab founders Andrew Torba and Ekrem Büyükkaya started Gab when they noticed Twitter censoring conservative voices. They launched Gab with the idea that “Whatever is permissible under the First Amendment is what Gab allows onto its site.” The app has over 200,000 users now, but Google and Apple are steadfast in their refusal to allow the app into their app stores.  Google, in refusing approval to Gab, said, “IN order to be on the Play Store, social networking apps need to demonstrate a sufficient level of moderation including for content that encourages violence and advocates hate against groups of people. This is a long-standing rule and clearly stated in our developer policies.” This does not mean android users cannot install Gab, but the app has a significantly decreased reach than it would have if it were in the app store. Gab has been accused of being an app for white supremacists, but founder Ekrem Büyükkaya is a Turkish Kurd and a Muslim who is anything but a supporter of American president Donald Trump. It is a well-known fact that other social media platforms that are available through Apple and Google have hosted ISIS activity, child-porn rings, facilitated drug dealing, and have live-streamed murder, torture and other crimes. Google recently hired on 4chan founder Chris Pool. 4Chan is notorious for its offensive speech and hardcore pornography offerings, but there are several 4Chan apps in the Google app store. Aaron Renn ends his article pointing out that “two Silicon Valley companies should not be the governors of the mobile Internet.”
