Winchester, VA – The BBC is reporting that the Syrian military moved swiftly through the desert west of Deir al-Zour and managed to bring about the end of the Islamic State’s siege of of the city, which was the last major stronghold of the Islamic State in Syria. Since 2015, there have been an estimated 93,000 civilians trapped in an enclave on the western bank of the Euphrates River, but no longer.  Good job, men.
