Thank you for sharing this presentation, Br. Andre Marie. You mention Pope St. Pius X’s episcopal motto, “Instaurare Omnia in Christo” (Eph. 1:10). You also mention the value of the Cross. A pun occurred to me, a happy providential turn of phrase:
What does “instaurare omnia in Christo” mean? To restore all things ἐν Σταυρῷ (Greek for, “on the Cross”).
The Greek word for the Cross is Σταυρός, “Stauros.” The pun is that “instaurare” to someone who knows Greek (as St. Jerome did) suggests “to put on the Cross.” For what that’s worth . . .
