Vox, the bastion of unbiased journalism, has produced a piece to walk the average lay person through “contact tracing.” Billing the privacy violating position as “Disease Detectives”, the story walks the reader through the process of visiting COVID-19 positive citizens. Subsequently, this ensures each person with whom they’ve come into contact is followed. This, they say, is the only way “to ease distancing restrictions.” Yet there exists a big problem with contract tracing – resources, both of the human and fiscal kind. However will they handle this?
