The FDA Has Suspended

So Trump is getting blasted constantly because of his support of hydroxychloroquine and Chloroquine.  The main reason that they push so hard against this is because it works.  You can’t possibly admit that your opponent has a valid point, huh?  He isn’t merely an opponent – he is Donald Trump! No way can you give credit where it is due.  Even when there are lives at stake.  Even when people are dying no one can seem to muster up enough intestinal fortitude to admit his being right.

• WHO Temporarily Halts Trial of Hydroxychloroquine over safety concerns
  • They have suspended it due to a study that says it may cause “increase deaths”
• FDA Says Hydroxychloroquine and Chloroquine Can Be Used to Treat Coronavirus
  • Here, we are told that hydrox and Chlor can be used for clinical trials
    • The story says:

Robin May, professor of infectious diseases and director of Microbiology and Infection a the U.K.’s University of Birmingham continued: “It is critical to emphasize, however, that chloroquine can have substantial side effects, particularly if the dosing is not correct.”  The individual risk/benefit will be something that clinicians will take into account on a patient by patient basis and consequently it is absolutely essential that patients do not self-medicate in the meantime, which can have life-threatening consequences.
