• The Teamsters did  a phone poll.
• Traditionally they endorse Democrats.
• For the last 28 years the Teamsters have endorsed Democrats for President. 

HEADLINE: Teamsters Union Declines to Endorse Presidential Candidate After Membership Polling Shows Trump Significantly Ahead of Harris by Debra Heine 

• Members favored Trump over Harris 59.6 percent to 34 percent and 58 percent to 31 percent respectively. In a previous poll, Joe Biden beat Trump by a smaller margin, 44.3 percent to 36.3 percent.
• For the Teamsters to release the polling from the survey is kinda strange is it not?
• The vast majority of our members simply don’t like you.
• Teamsters General President Sean M O’Brien – “For the past year, the Teamsters Union has pledged to conduct the most inclusive, democratic, and transparent Presidential endorsement process in the history of our 121-year-old organization—and today we are delivering on that promise to our members,” said O’Brien. “Our members are the union, and their voices and opinions must be at the forefront of everything the Teamsters do. • Union membership, in my union I don’t know very many people that are paying attention and supporting Kamala Harris although our leadership is living in the 1990’s and they have moved so far beyond them that it is bizarre to be apart of it.
• Every cycle our leaders vote Dem but the memberships aren’t buying it.
• Sheetmetal Workers International – we merged unions several years ago with the railroads.
• So you are correct our leadership is always pushing Democrat and the members are pushing back and going Republican.
• The only people that vote the way the Union tells them to vote are those that only vote for President and they just aren’t really paying attention.
• The Union will provide a full ballot for us on who to vote for.
• There is never work when their are Democrats in the White House.

• The desensitization of some Americans following the second assassination attempt of former President Trump is alarming. Seventeen percent (17%) of voters believe America would have been better off if former President Trump had been killed in last week’s attempted assassination.
• That figure includes 28% of Democrats who say that America would have been better off if Trump had been assassinated. Another 24% of Democrats were not sure. Fewer than half (48%) of Democrats could bring themselves to say that America would not be better off if the opposing party’s candidate for president had been assassinated.
• Will they turn down the rhetoric now?
• It seems there are now 20% of Democrats that are would be assassins. 
• Can we go back to let us just agree to disagree?
• Why does it need to turn to ‘this man must die’?
• Scott Rasmussen, president of RMG Research, said “It is hard to imagine a greater threat to democracy than expressing a desire to have your political opponent murdered.”
• Shouldn’t theses people that want Trump dead all be visited by the Secret Service?
