Job Overview:

Position: Video Editor (Remote, U.S.-based only)
Type: Freelance/Contractor
Location: Work from home (American-based applicants only)
Responsibilities:
Editing & Composing Video Content:

Create and edit highlight clips from The Mike Church Show for YouTube.
Produce YouTube Shorts (<60 seconds) featuring punchy, high-engagement moments.
Assemble weekly deep-dive commentary episodes (15-20 minutes).
Enhancing Engagement:

Add professional graphics, transitions, and overlays (e.g., titles, lower thirds).
Sync videos with audio segments and add captions for accessibility.
Content Optimization:

Collaborate with the team to ensure videos align with branding and audience preferences.
Optimize video formats and content for YouTube SEO (e.g., engaging thumbnails, clickable CTAs).
Collaborative Content Creation:

Work with the host and producer to brainstorm innovative ideas for content.
Assist in creating visually striking thumbnails and occasional promotional materials.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
Strong understanding of YouTube video optimization (SEO, thumbnails, etc.).
Creativity and ability to craft visually appealing, engaging videos.
Experience editing talk shows, podcasts, or commentary-based content is a bonus!
Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines.
