HEADLINE: Driver identified, arrested for DUI in deadly chain-reaction crash on 10 Freeway in Ontario by Rob McMillan and Tim Pulliam 

• The driver was identified as 21-year-old Indian national Jashanpreet Singh, who reportedly entered the U.S. illegally in 2022.
• The violent crash, which left three people dead and at least four others injured.
• The driver of the Freightliner tractor-trailer combination that slammed into the SUV was identified as 21-year-old Jashanpreet Singh, who was living in Yuba City in Northern California.
• He was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and vehicular manslaughter.

• 41 million Americans are currently receiving SNAP benefits. 
• In fiscal year 2024, an average of 41.7 million people, or 12.3% of the U.S. population, received SNAP benefits. Participation varies by state, with the share of residents on SNAP ranging from a low of 4.8% in Utah to a high of 21.2% in New Mexico.  
• In fiscal year 2024, 10.6% of South Carolina’s population received SNAP benefits, which is the 30th highest percentage among states. This equates to an average of about 581,600 people per month. 
• About 4.8 million Californians in 2.6 million households receive CalFresh Food benefits now, and there’s nearly 2 million more Californians who are eligible but haven’t yet signed up.
• This is unsustainable fellow Americans.

• This is now the 2nd longest government shutdown in history!
• The Residency Act – officially titled “An Act for Establishing the Temporary and Permanent Seat of the Government of the United States,” was passed on July 16, 1790, and selected a site on the Potomac River as the permanent capital (Washington, D.C.), in ten years times. Also, this act designated Philadelphia as the temporary capital for a period of ten years. The Residence Act was the result of a compromise reached between Thomas Jefferson, Alexander Hamilton and James Madison concerning the permanent location of the Federal capital. In exchange for locating the new capital on the Potomac River, Madison agreed not to block legislation mandating the assumption of the states’ debts by the Federal government.
• The compromise was building the White House, Virginia would give up territory and so on, the dwelling place for the President was created. 
• George Washington CHOSE who was going to build the White House. 
• There was no commission. He didn’t get permission for anything. Who oversaw the construction? George Washington.

Baton Rouge Capitol building renovations – 

• The exterior of the Louisiana State Capitol is undergoing a major cleaning and refurbishment project, with nearly $32 million allocated to start the work. This project includes waterproofing, cleaning decorative elements, and replacing glass, with the goal of restoring and preserving the building’s appearance for many years to come. While this large-scale project is underway, another separate effort is being made to address litter in the adjacent Capitol Lakes through the installation of litter-trap systems.
• 93-0 passed resolution that Senator Valerie Hodges has a task force commission to protect the grid. The CCP has infiltrated the U.S. since the cold war. 
• They even have sleeper cells here.

• Geographically speaking Nigeria sits on the coast. 
• There are 232.7 million people living in Nigeria right now. 
• One of the worlds biggest oil producers. 
• The impact Nigeria has on Africa is major!
• We don’t hear much about Africa in Western media these days.
• We have to do a better job in covering some of these stories. 
• What can we do to help?
• His first answer to that question 3 times was PRAY!
• He said all this crime and murder has NOT made them fearful of participating in Mass. They still go to Mass, they still pray in public. He said it makes their faith STRONGER. 

HEADLINE: Inside Nigeria’s war on Christians by Susie Pinto 

• US States Department can designate countries facing persecution. He, Human Rights lawyer Jabez Musa, urged President Trump to put Nigeria BACK on that list to put pressure on the Nigeria government. This is an effort to stop Christian massacres.

• Boko Haram – they still have captives from 2014! In 2014 Boko Haram kidnapped 276 school girls. 57 of the girls managed to escape soon after their abduction. In 2017 103 girls were released.
• Over 80 are still in captivity and Boko Haram still has a very strong hold on North Eastern Nigeria. All these years later we don’t know their fates.
• According to Amnesty International, at least 2,000 women and girls were abducted by the group just within the first year of the Chibok incident. 
• Jabez mentioned just last week 10 Christians were killed. 
• The Western media is slowly waking up to what is happening there. 
• I hold myself accountable to what is happening around the world. 
• Country of Particular Concern – CPC
• Jabez said Sharia Law facilitates this kind of violence against Christians and for over 2 decades this has taken place. 
• The Northern region is predominantly Muslim. The North is where these clashes happen. Muslims, modern Muslims are also being targeted too. 
• A lot of Islamic entities were eradicated from Iraq and Jabez made the point they just came to Africa and moved their operations there. They are thriving there. We don’t hear much about that but they are regrouping there and reorganizing there.
• Final Question – What is your prayer to God?
• I asked Jabez that and he prays that every Christian and Muslim can have safe existence in his land. We take safety here in America for granted. The simplicity of his prayer is what I took to heart.

• Is the president holding back on this because he doesn’t like the optics?
• I think the Trump administration has gotten comfortable with high approval ratings.
• We are not post midterms yet. 
• There is domestic stuff he was elected because of and I don’t see the focus on them.
• What would you like to see movement on?
• Restrictions on Homeschooling is one. They are making it harder to have exemptions on religious things for public schools etc.
• The prices of meat are astronomical at this point. You can get obscure fish for cheaper than a steak right now.
• I voted for MAJOR government reforms.
• Yes foreign wars are important but we have domestic issues too and I want to see that turned around.
• Ranchers are telling President Trump to please meet with them. The first thing that is needed is bring to and end the mandatory policy that says in order for you to sell in open market it has to go through a USDA slaughter house.
• This frustration is justified. 
• Listen to the ranchers and get something done. 
• This administration is starting to feel more like when Jared came in. I wonder why and I think it is because the focus on the Israel issue. I feel like we are doing that in place of everything domestic.

He doesn’t pick up trash, that is what the Mayor does. The state allocates funding for localities and I did more of that than any Governor in the state of New York. I did things. You have never had a job, you have never accomplished anything. There is no reason to belive you have qualification for 8.5 million lives. You don’t know how to handle and emergency. You have literally never proposed a bill. You had the worst attendance in history. You have yourself the highest raise in the US history from $110 to $140 and you missed 80% of the votes…shame on you.

I almost lost my eldest son to gang violence in New York. The perpetrators went through family court and were released. How can both of you look at me? They got a pat on the wrist and was sent home to do it again and again. We need to start charging juveniles in criminal court.

• They were afraid to run against someone that AOC and Bernie Sanders endorsed. 
• The one thing I will say about Cuomo is he is right, it does take some government and hands on experience that regulates the lives of 8.5 million people. 
• The Democrats are now married to this government shutdown. 
• Where are they getting the information that this is a winning issue for them?
• I think there are stupid people in both parties but more in the party of the left.
• No one has cared about Obamacare in years. 
• They are running commercials that boomers will have to pay for their own healthcare and do you know that is having the opposite effect on people my age. I’m sorry but young people simply do not care!

• This is only something Trump could do NOW in this term because he doesn’t care.
• Remember Mrs Carter donated things from the White House?
• Nancy Reagan did something like this too.
• Trump is just righting a wrong. The White House has been in disrepair for years.
