A Couple of American Men Have Gotten Themselves in Hot Water in a Foreign Country

Winchester, VA – In this Celestial Musings, I didn’t know if this belonged in “you can’t make this stuff up” or “actions have consequences” so you decide. The Daily Caller reports that a couple of American men have gotten themselves in hot water in a foreign country, again. Homosexual couple Joseph and Travis Dasilva were traveling in Thailand when they stopped and had their picture taken. Sounds innocuous enough. The Dasilvas must like to travel because they have a twitter account they call Travelling Butts. Apparently, based on this picture, and what I have read about them, our distinguished travelers wear pants without backsides in them and have pictures taken of their rears in famous places. And then they bless the world with these pictures.  Well the picture of them at the Wat Arun temple in Bangkok was posted on Twitter, and it went viral.  Police found the men at the airport on Tuesday and arrested them for public indecency. The men have paid a fine of and are also possibly facing charges which could send their Travelling Butts traveling to the slammer for up to five years and seven years respectively. Mr. and Mr. Dasilva are pleading for the city of San Diego to help them out. What is this with Americans acting like donkeys abroad and then whining back at Lady Liberty to get them out of the messes they have created? If you travel to another country, respect their culture and respect their laws. Behave like a decent human being, and if you break their laws, suck it up and accept the consequences. You made your bed and it is over the line for you to ask your country to request of another sovereign country that they ignore their laws for your sorry butts.
