Winchester, VA – Toddstarnes.com has highlighted the cause of Steve and Bridget Tennes, Catholic owners of Country Mill Farm in Michigan, and regular vendor of blueberries at the city-owned farmer’s market. When they replied to a query on their Facebook page last year and stated that they do not host gay weddings on their farm that would violate their consciences, the city of East Lansing saw their post and contacted the Tenneses, asking them to give account of their beliefs and explaining they did not agree with their post. The farmer’s market did not ask the Tenneses to return for the next season, so they sent in an application to sell their blueberries for another season. They were denied on the basis of their beliefs about traditional marriage, being told that their stance on Holy Matrimony violates the beliefs of the city of East Lansing. The Alliance Defending Freedom is representing them in a lawsuit against East Lansing. Good luck, Tennes family! View Their Story Here
