POLICE ARE SEARCHING FOR A MAN WHO THREATENED A CATHOLIC NUN IN CHURCH

Winchester, VA – The Catholic Register is reporting that New York police are searching for a man who threatened the Mother Superior of a religious order in the Co-Cathedral of Saint Joseph in Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon. The shirtless man approached the Mother Superior and said to her, “I don’t believe in this because you don’t help the poor.” She had no response to him, and he became insistent, asking her, “What did I say?” When the nun looked at another woman praying in the church, the man said to her, “She can’t help you. I’m going to kill you.” Mother Superior then fled the church to call for help. The man was caught on surveillance video and is described as African-American, bald, about six feet tall and of a medium build.
