UPDATE ON CONGRESSMAN STEVE SCALISE

Winchester, VA – The New York Post is reporting via the Associated Press that Louisiana Representative Steve Scalise remains in “serious” condition in the hospital, where he is recovering from gunshot wounds from an attack in June. He was in fair condition until Wednesday night, when he was placed back into the ICU for a suspected infection. Yesterday, Representative Scalise underwent surgery for “the management of infection” and MedStar Washington hospital reports that he tolerated the operation well.
