Coca-Cola perverted the image of Saint Nicholas when they released the ad featuring Santa Claus in 1930. Instead of the saint that brought a small treat to children at the start of advent, we now have a larger than life figure that only comes on Christmas Eve. However, Santa Claus still has a lot of the traits that defined Saint Nicholas. Mike Parrott honors Saint Nicholas on this episode of Parrott Talk. He shares his family tradition of writing letters to Saint Nicholas and how he has already visited the Parrott family. Mike also breaks down the real Christmas season, and he reveals why we shouldn’t hear a single Christmas song while we are shopping for our Thanksgiving Turkey. He also gives a brief glimpse at real Christmas music. Here’s a hint, the music has nothing to do with how cold it is. Tune into this episode of Parrott Talk to learn more about Saint Nicholas and Christmas.
