GEORGIA REPUBLICANS HANDILY DEFEAT THE DEMOCRATS IN A HOUSE ELECTION
Winchester, VA - The much anticipated election for Georgia's 6th congressional district took place yesterday. The campaign, which saw Democrats hemorrhaging $23,000,000 for candidate Jon Ossoff, and Republicans a mere $5,000,000 for Karen Handel, was seen as a referendum on the Trump Administration. Reuters reports that the seat has been held by Republicans since the 1970's, but Democrats felt that discontent over Donald Trump's presidency might change that.
