• This had to be someone that was a disciple, whom the Lord knew.

• It is a Latin word veta = true so Econa = image so her name means TRUE IMAGE.
• She got named  you know the “one with the true image” Saint Veronica
• People were in Jerusalem tons of them in observance of the Jewish holidays.
• The Jews in Jerusalem loved not having to intermingle.
• In order to get to Jerusalem you had to pass through Samaria.
• And the Jews HATED the Samaritans and the visa versa.
• This is written in the Bible.
• Saint Luke was a gentile and joined the operation later.
• Saint Paul got the knowledge from Our Lord himself.
• He was given all kinds of revelations from Our Lord himself.
• He was speaking to His chosen apostle. 
• He could have learned from the other apostles but he spent 3 years in the desert. 
• He was learning a great deal durning that time. 
• After this he has the most fruitful of apostolic. 
• ‘What she was thinking in her soul, she pondered them in her heart.’
• Where did get this? How did he know?
• God spoke directly to him.
• This is the occasion in which St John said this could have been sold, it was imported from India, it was a spiced ointment. 
• This happened in the house the 2nd time at Mary Magdalene house.
• St John said he said that not b/c he was worried about the poor but because he was a thief. 
• Pure Spirit
• Inspire – inspiration and respiration and that all comes from Spiritus in Latin.
• When He breaths on the Apostles – is there anyone in your church that does what Jesus tells his apostles to do?
• That is only found in the Catholic Church that isn’t the pastor at your large mega-church.
