• Thirteen people have been murdered over the last seven days in New Orleans, bringing the 2022 homicide count to 62. 
• That marks a 47% increase from 2021. At this time last year, 42 people had been murdered. While the pace of carjackings has slowed somewhat in recent weeks, the city had already seen 90 carjackings since the start of 2022. That’s nearly as many in just three months as during the entirety of 2018 or 2019.

Friends, in a recent op-ed for the New Hampshire Union-Leader I expressed that our governor, Chris Sununu, would make an excellent candidate for persidnt. I also referred to Gov Sununu’s ‘moderate pro-life position’. 

This caused consternation among some Catholics, including CJ Doyle of cahtolicsm.org and my friend the radio host Mike Church. They pointed out (among other things) that Gov Sununu has described himself as pro-choice and a supporter of Roe v Wade.

I honestly didn’t know that. When I wrote the op-ed, Governor Sununu had just signed into law a 24-week abortion ban. According to some friends, who know more about state politics than I do, Governor Sununu did so w/ great relucatnce, and only b/c it was part of the state budget.

I sincerely apologize to any reader I’ve misled, upset, or disappointed. Of course, I would never (knowingly) endorse a pro-choice candidate for any office. Mea culpa. – Michael Warren Davis

• Nuclear war, ozone, BSE, GMO, Millenium Bug, The War On Terror, The Axis of Evil, WMD, Ten Years or Ten Months to Save the Planet, North Korea, Gadaffi, Assad, Transphobia, BLM, COVID-19, Nuclear War again.

The outcomes here are

2. Protracted civilian massacre and destabilisation of Europe
3. Negotiations
