The CRUSADE Channel Radio announced plans to recreate the 2007 world premiere of Mike Church’s Road To Independence. Writer-narrator-director Mike Church’s first feature film, consumed the entire broadcast day on the new, Sirius Patriot Channel (now SiriusXM Patriot) and aired a total of 8 times; a feat that no radio station has duplicated since, until now! The CRUSADE Channel will begin its marathon of 1 broadcast and 7 encores at midnight on July 4th and will even include the “T-minus__ minutes until the rebroadcast of Mike Church’s Road to Independence…” recorded by then 9 year old Madison and Reagan Church; exactly as they were broadcast in 2007!

The Road to Independence features a star turn from Emmy Award winning actor Jay Thomas as John Adams. The Original Soundtrack is inspiring and Patriotic and the sounds of the Battle of Bunker Hill will make you duck for cover.
In between airings, the CRUSADE Channel is airing a newly produced feature “Learning History, Making History” featuring never before aired interviews with the cast and crew of this groundbreaking “historical masterpiece”. The feature starred the voice talent of Oscar nominated and Emmy Award winning actor Jay Thomas (Mr. Holland’s Opus) as John Adams. The new Making History feature includes a 2011 interview Thomas did for the release of the movie version of The Road To Independence . Thomas went on to star in 6 of Mike Church’s 7 features for Founding Father Films and became a dear friend of the Church family until his death in 2017. The Road to Independence also stands out as an original classic because of its original musical soundtrack composed and performed by Jimm Mosher and Hit Music Studios.
The CRUSADE Channel has announced it will make this one of a kind broadcasting event available to anyone who wants to listen to it at crusadechannel.com or on their FREE apps available in the iTunes and Google Play Stores (CRUSADE Channel radio).
