Mike Dewine made his daily COVID19 TV appearance on Monday giving the normal, morbid, information about the current “pandemic.” In his desire to get the economy rolling again he and the Ohio Department of Health said all Ohioans should wear masks in public. That lasted for about twenty-four hours – when the decision was reversed. The data simply doesn’t support it.
“There will have to be adjustments as we go,” DeWine said Tuesday. “Within the last 24 hours, it has become clear to me that a mandatory mask requirement for retail customers is offensive to some of our fellow Ohioans. I understand that.”
However, the Dear Leader MaoAndy Beshear is still moving forward with the plan to get the economy going by requiring all Kentuckians to wear masks in public by May 11. Getting choked up on the Andy Beshear Worship Show, Dear Leader MaoAndy reached deep into the manipulation bag-o-tricks to make everyone feel bad for not wanting to don the facial diaper:
“Let’s just make sure we’re doing the bare minimum to not spread this to other people…isn’t this something we should be willing to do to help out our fellow human beings? “If you could protect somebody else, by doing this — I hate to bring her back up, but if you could protect Lil [Lillian Press, 95, whose family founded KET and who directed the state’s Governor’s Scholars Program, died of complications of COVID-19] wouldn’t you? Wouldn’t you wear this?” Beshear said, holding up a face mask.
The Real Time Data Does Not Reflect the Dread
As each day goes by we see more data pointing us in the direction that the numbers predicated by the Doomsday Shamdemic Hoaxsters was wrong at best, and manipulated at worst. Yet the governors continue to keep states on lock down. Now, we can have grace for them since the early data was full of gloom causing leaders to act in drastic ways to preserve life; what about now? Why are we still shutdown when antibody tests are proving that great numbers of people have had the virus then recovered just fine?
